Leisure Team Member Apprenticeship Level 2
The role of a leisure team member is to support, enhance and deliver the day-to-day operations and services of a leisure / fitness facility. Working as part of a team, it is the responsibility of the leisure team member to undertake a range of operational duties such as assisting with the opening / closing of a facility, undertaking routine maintenance of equipment and maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the environment. Alongside these operational functions they ensure programmed activities and services are available for customers. They act as a Lifeguard, Swimming Teacher, Gym Instructor and Group Activity Leader. Throughout the 18 month duration of the course, learners have the opportunity to gain a range of industry based qualifications which will be delivered in blocks of training. They will be required to attend College one day per week to develop knowledge, skills and behaviours relevant to the role of a Leisure Team Member.

Swim England Level 2 Swimming Teacher Qualification

Many of our courses are fully funded for 16-18 year olds however not all courses are available for this age group.
You may also be entitled to support with travel, childcare and equipment.
