So, with that many opportunities, how do you work out exactly what area of business you want to specialise in? Well, that’s where this course can help.The Intermediate Business programme will enable you take your first steps towards a career in the business world, enabling you to apply your skills and knowledge in business administration. It will equip you with the essential skills and knowledge required to progress onto a business administrator apprenticeship, or into an administrationrelated job role, such as an administrative assistant/officer in areas such as human resources, business finance, marketing and customer service. It will also enable you to acquire a range of transferable skills and knowledge which are highly regarded by employers. The programme is intended to inspire and enthuse you to consider your future career, by applying your skills, knowledge and understanding to tasks or activities that happen in the business administration sector. Designed alongside employers, the programme includes the transferable skills, knowledge and understanding that employers are looking for in prospective applicants.You will learn through a variety of practical activities and theory sessions, and upon completion may further develop your business knowledge by progressing to study Level 3 Advanced Business at South Devon College.
