CIPD Human Resource Practice Certificate

This qualification is suitable if you are aspiring to a career in human resources (HR) or learning and development, or if you wish to improve your knowledge of HR as a manager or team leader. The course will introduce you to a wide range of theory and practice in order to increase your knowledge and develop your skills.

The emphasis throughout the course is on developing skills as well as knowledge. You will gain practical experience of applying the skills you have learnt in a realistic setting. Your own HR experience will play a major part in your learning on this course, and you will be encouraged to apply new skills through role play. A student conference
is also planned. You will be assessed through practical and written assignments in which you will be able to explain how you apply HR practices in the workplace.

If you are aged 19 and over you may have options to help fund your studies with us. The funding you can receive depends on your personal circumstances, and could mean you are entitled to free or reduced course fees. You may also be entitled to support with travel, childcare and equipment. To find out exactly what you could receive, contact our Helpzone team on 08000 380 123 for a free, impartial appointment, with no commitment necessary.
