Are you interested in finding out the tricks of designing a beautiful garden or in getting the most out of an allotment? This 10 week course will cover all the basics from planning, identifying and selecting plants to best use of space. This is a classroom, theory-based course, taught by our experienced horticulture lecturers. Upon completion you could progress to our Level 2 Certificate in Horticulture where you will be able to put your knowledge into practice.

"Having progressed from a Level 3 course in Games and Interactive Media at South Devon College, I knew that there were excellent facilities and levels of support. The fact that UCSD is local also meant I would save money by staying at home, which was really beneficial. The support of the tutors has helped me transition into university-level study, which has been very positive. I contributed to an employment and research scholarship, where we secured an Oculus Rift display, which I'll be using to simulate and test some of the 3D spaces I've created. When I complete my studies at UCSD I will go on to complete a top-up year, before entering employment.
