This course is for you if you are, or intend to be, a food handler working in catering. It is also appropriate if you provide services to catering premises including pest control operators, maintenance engineers, cleaners and laundry and delivery personnel.
The Food Safety in Catering Award Level 2 will cover; how you can take personal responsibility for food safety, the importance of keeping clean and hygienic, the importance of keeping the work areas clean and hygienic and the importance of keeping food safe.
To complete this course you should expect to undertake nine hours of learning (one day course) and complete an assessment (multiple-choice examination).
