Digital Skills Certificate (Online)

Are you looking to learn new digital skills? This qualification will help to grow your confidence and demonstrate your understanding of, and competency in, digital literacy skills. In an increasingly digital world, it’s becoming more important to have the right skills in order to use computers and other technological devices. This course is designed to help support your development with digital literacy skills, encouraging progression into roles where digital literacy is required.

Course delivery is online via distance learning.
Course duration – 6 weeks
You must be aged 19+ before the beginning of the academic year and lived in the EU for 3 years.

How will I learn?
This course is course is taught via tutor demonstrations, worksheets and online assessments.
There are a range of teaching materials and activities that you will work your way through and at the end of each section you will complete a small assessment. The course is divided into small sections in the aim to keep it achievable.
How the qualification is assessed:
The Level 1 Certificate in Digital Skills is a competency and knowledge based qualification which is internally assessed via a portfolio of evidence.
Entry Requirements
There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However, you may find it helpful if you have already achieved an Entry Level qualification in ICT.

If you are aged 19 and over you may have options to help fund your studies with us. The funding you can receive depends on your personal circumstances, and could mean you are entitled to free or reduced course fees. You may also be entitled to support with travel, childcare and equipment.
