The key focus of the apprenticeship programme is workplace training ‘on the job’, carried out in conjunction with your nominated supervisor/mentor. ‘Off the job’ training, knowledge delivery and assessment will be carried out at South Devon College within the Computing section. The knowledge modules will be completed and assessed at South Devon College. The summative portfolio NVQ units will be assessed in your company. An NVQ assessor will visit you in your workplace to observe some practical assessments and liaise with your supervisor or mentor to discuss your progress and set targets.
