This higher apprenticeship is ideal if you are a technician within the construction and civil engineering sectors. Typically, this includes roles such as Assistant Site Engineer, Civil Engineering Technician or Construction Site Technician. It may also include Site Engineer, Civil Engineer or Project Engineer roles. On successful completion of the HNC and subject to suitability, apprentices will apply for their End Point Assessment (EPA). The Institution of Civil Engineers are the End Point Assessors and the process subject to application comprises of a response to a technical project brief and submission of a written report. On the day of the EPA the apprentice will be required to formally deliver a presentation which is followed by a structured interview. The HNC is accredited by the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) and apprentices may register for EngTECH on commencing the apprenticeship.We consider a variety of qualifications and relevant experience, and each application is assessed on its own merit.To enrol on this course, you will require 48â€“60 UCAS points, from at least one of the following: A Levels, BTEC Nationals, Access to Higher Education Diploma, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualifications.Upon successful completion of this apprenticeship you may be able to progress to the Higher Apprenticeship: Construction Management Level 5 Incorporating The Fdsc Civil And Coastal EngineeringThe programme prepares you for junior management or technician roles in various industry disciplines, opening up numerous opportunities. You could progress junior, middle and senior management positions. The roles you could be working in are varied and may include: Site Engineer, Engineering Technician, Site Agent, Project Manager, Civil Engineer, Highways Engineer, Bridge Engineer, Structural Engineer.
