This course is designed for those looking for one of the many technical, design or professional careers in construction.
You will develop an understanding of the extent and significance of the built environment and what shapes, develops and influences it. Topics and units will include: health, safety and welfare in construction and the built environment, sustainable construction, mathematics, science and materials in construction and the built environment.
Upon completion you could progress into employment, or consider further study at university level, either on a Foundation Degree or a Higher National Certificate.
