The CMI Level 3 Certificate in Coaching and Mentoring provides an introduction to coaching and mentoring and also explores the use of different models used by a coach or mentor.
You might be a team leader, supervisor, or manager; or you might be a voluntary worker or simply have an interest in supporting others and helping them to make choices or decisions or improve performance. The Certificate covers two units “The Principles, Skills and Impact of Coaching and Mentoring” and “The processes of Coaching and Mentoring”.
You will use and compare the different models, considering the practical and theoretical aspects of each, in a range of different contexts. You will also discuss the importance of giving feedback.
On completion, you might progress to higher level Coaching and Mentoring qualifications or broaden your studies through CMI Management, or CIPD HR qualifications, at level 3 or 5, dependent of qualifications and experience.
