The YMCA Children’s Fitness Instructor Certificate Level 2 is available to those who wish to run health related exercise sessions for children and those who are already running such sessions without a formal qualification.
You will learn through both theory and practical sessions taught by a team of highly qualified, professional and experienced teachers, trainers and assessors. Upon completion, you will be qualified to work as a health related exercise instructor for children aged 5-15 years in the community, schools or leisure centres.
To qualify for this qualification, it is required that you pass the Fitness Theory Level 2 Mandatory Units.
"There's so many different sports you can play at the College such as football, girls' football, basketball, netball, canoeing and rock climbing. The teachers treat you with respect and maturity and teach you the perfect mix of practical and theory."Cameron Webb
