Early Years Educator

This advanced apprenticeship in Childcare and Education prepares you to work with children from birth to five years, and also provides you with a knowledge of children aged from five to seven years old. This will include promoting a healthy lifestyle, supporting children who are unwell and improving emotional well-being, all of which are developed through a suitable employer and theory lessons at the College. Upon completion of this two year apprenticeship, learners will be able to continue working and progressing within childcare or an early years setting.

Please note that due to Ofsted practice requirements for GCSE, grade C (4) or above in maths and English are the entry requirements for an apprenticeship.

College provision for this course will be on a Tuesday afternoon and evening, where you will have tutorial support and taught sessions.

What will I learn?

“I really enjoyed studying Health and Social Care. You're treated as an adult at the College and the tutors get to know you on a personal level, they are really supportive and their knowledge is invaluable. I felt as though I grew as a person during my time there, which is so important."Caitlyn Crofts
