Bricklaying Diploma

This bricklaying course is the perfect opportunity to gain the essential skills required to join the construction industry, and can act as a great introduction to a new and exciting career path.

We’ll teach you more than just a trade – we’ll help you find a career that could last your entire life. And because of the drive to build so many new homes throughout the UK, bricklayers and builders are in very high demand. There’s never been a more exciting time to start a bricklaying career, and this course will give you the essential skills you need to break into the industry.

You’ll be learning from our team of experienced construction experts, who can teach you everything there is to know about bricklaying and being on-site. You’ll learn how to construct basic brickwork structures to start, including blockwork and cavity walls, as well as mixing mortar and concrete. We’ll also teach you some of the theory behind the construction industry, which will help you stand out from others and give you a head start in your career.

All of this is delivered at our specialist workshop facilities, where you’ll have access to all of the equipment and tools you need to develop your skills as a bricklayer. You’ll be learning alongside people with similar interests to you, working together as you prepare to be on-site and to begin this exciting and rewarding career.


This course is all about giving you an introduction to brickwork and the construction industry. It’s about the essential skills that will form the foundation for any bricklaying job before you take the next step in your learning and development.

you can progress through all of the levels and straight into employment. Or you can look into our bricklaying and construction apprentices, where you’ll be learning out on-site with an employer. Either way, the choice is yours.

All we ask is that you have a genuine interest in building and construction. As the first stage of your career, we’re here to support you and help you get to the next level, where you’ll refine your skills as a more experienced bricklayer.
