The Health Studies pathway consists of three core subjects; Health Studies, Biology and Psychology. Alongside three core academic subjects, you will receive training in study skills; support in academic writing and referencing, as well as guidance with the UCAS application process.
This pathway is widely accepted on a variety of university courses including Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Paramedic Training and many more. Check the website of your chosen university for their entry requirements.

• Both maths and English GCSE grade 4 (or equivalent) are required for all Access to HE Diplomas (exceptions will be considered if you do not need this criteria in order to progress to your selected Higher Education Institute).
You may be able to apply for an Advanced Learner Loan to pay for your course fees, which you will not have to repay if you progress to University and complete your degree.
