Are you looking to do a degree in childhood and education studies? This is a distance learning opportunity to gain qualifications you need to progress on to University in the convenience of your own home.
Funding is available for this course via an Advanced Learner Loan. Progression and completion of a subsequent Foundation Degree, will mean loan does not need to be repaid.
Our course is well suited to those who work full time or have young children but still aspire to achieve their best. This is an online learning platform that includes innovative, interesting lessons and full support from a personal tutor.
Although proposed as a two year course, it can be completed within one year.
This pathway consists of 4 core subject s in Educational Theory, Childhood Studies, Education Practice and Education Studies. This pathway would suit you if you are looking to progress onto a Childhood studies or Teaching Degree. Alongside 4 core academic subjects, you will also receive training in Study skills; support in academic writing, as well as walking you through the UCAS application process. Check the website of your chosen university for their entry requirements.

• Both maths and English GCSE grade 4 (or equivalent) are required for all Access Diplomas. (Exceptions will be considered, should the Higher Education Institute that you wish to attend does not require maths or English.)
