2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) Level 3
This course will enable you to acquire the knowledge and practical skills to create complex drawings including annotations and output using multiple view layouts.
The 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) Award Level 3 will also enable you to manage CAD drawing data and libraries in line with industry standards.
The software used is AutoCAD.If you are aged 19 and over you may have options to help fund your studies with us.
- You must have a GCSE Grade 3(D) in English
- You must have a GCSE Grade 3(D) in Maths
- You should have a genuine interest in this subject

How to use layers, complex dimensions and text
How to use library items and external references
How to produce complex drawings
How to carry out advanced editing processes
How to use methods to cleanse a CAD drawing
How to output drawings using multiple scale views
