· Thurs 5th July 2007 - Book Fair at South Devon College
For students and South Devon College staff to meet publishers and book suppliers for next year’s resources. Europe Direct stand, balloons leaflets, free pens and lapel pins
· Fri 6th July 2007 - First Friday Breakfast Meeting
The ‘First Friday’ Breakfast Club held its second meeting at the Torbay Innovation Centre, where Europe Direct information packs were provided.
· Tues 17th to Thurs 19th July 2007 - Chef Academy
Chef Andrew Niering taught Italian pasta / pizza / salads, along with three tutors each day and approx 40 students from local KEVICS school cooked in the Plym kitchen at South Devon College and ate in Horizons Restaurant, which was decorated with European flag bunting. Maps of Europe were available to take away for their schools, along with phrase books, rubbers, pens, baseball caps, balloons and pins supplied by the Europe Direct Relay Centre at the College.
