If you would like a career in cabin crew then this qualification will help develop your knowledge and understanding of: the role of cabin crew, airline health, safety and security, selling products and services and making passenger announcements.
You will be supported by a teacher who will use their cabin crew experience to help you learn and you will be assessed by written work, presentations and role plays.

This course will provide you with a high level of knowledge about a wide variety of travel and tourism areas. You will learn through a variety of practical activities and theory sessions, and you will be assessed by written and practical tasks.
This is an intensive course, so you will require a high degree of self-motivation, and upon successful completion, you could progress to a second year of study with a view to progressing to Higher Education, or alternatively consider employment.

We have a wide variety of financial support available for adults to fund your studies, as well as a dedicated finance team to help make studying with us affordable.
If you are aged 19 or over, and studying a Level 3, 4, 5 or 6 course, you could apply for an Advanced Learner Loan. The Advanced Learner Loan is a government-funded loan to help learners. It's easy to apply for, doesn't take your household income into account and doesn't involve a credit check.
We can also support you with a Learner Support Fund, which can assist with costs including childcare, college meals, exam fees and course materials. The amount of funding you can receive depends on your personal circumstances, and you could be entitled to free tuition if you're studying a Level 2 course. In the event that you do have to pay a course fee, this can be managed in an affordable way through our direct debit scheme, with monthly payments starting at just £25.

Are you an adult looking for an Apprenticeship?
Apprenticeships are a great way of gaining important skills and qualifications with work-based training. You'll also receive a wage whilst you study, which makes apprenticeship training a fantastic option for adults preparing for employment.
You can start an apprenticeship even if you are already employed, or the College can help you secure an employer in a relevant field. They develop real work experience, and you gain both technical and academic skills with 4 days per week spent in the workplace and the remaining day in College.

We also have an extensive degree programme, delivered in partnership with Plymouth University, so when you complete your studies you could progress to a related university degree that will develop the knowledge you need to excel.
If you don't feel quite ready for university study, our Access to Higher Education Diplomas can help you prepare, so there's nothing to stop you from achieving your goals. We have courses in a number of subject areas, as well as support with interview techniques and UCAS applications to other institutions.
