FORMER MP and Strictly Come Dancing star the Rt Hon Ann Widdecombe paid a visit to South Devon College last week to attend an award ceremony for local school students studying specialist courses at the College.

A partnership between the College and schools has enabled students to attend South Devon College one day a week over two years as part of their extended school curriculum.  Thirteen partner

UNIFORMED PUBLIC SERVICE students at South Devon College are keen to ‘make a difference to the community and beyond’ by actively looking for community-based volunteering projects to undertake.

The students identified the best way to find worthy causes to help the community was to ask.  Head of Public Services at the College, Ken Fraser, is keen to invite - on behalf of his students

UNIFORMED PUBLIC SERVICE students at South Devon College honoured National Armed Forces Day with a flag raising ceremony at the College’s Vantage Point campus in Paignton.

The Public Service department at South Devon College has a particular affinity to the Armed Forces, as they have a current tutor, Colin Kirkman, currently serving in Afghanistan with the Royal Marine Commandos.
