South Devon College has reached the South West regional final of the National Training Awards 2012.
The awards recognise and celebrate those organisations that have delivered outstanding benefits by directly linking the training needs of their people to their business needs.

Young Carpenters Impress in Skills Competition
Young carpentry students at South Devon College impressed industry representatives and tutors at a recent competition, held at the Vantage Point-based construction department.
Nathan Poulton 18 from South Brent scooped the title ‘South Devon College Young Carpenter of the Year’ along with a £100 voucher for Inter-Line Building Supplies of Paignton.

Young people with learning disabilities celebrate the start of their journey into working life.
A group of young people with learning disabilities have just started internships in Torbay Hospital under the banner of Project SEARCH.
A Government initiative, Project SEARCH has had success all over the world and is being delivered in Torbay by South Devon Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, South Devon
