The South Devon College Students’ Union have secured the talents of one of X Factor’s hottest stars, Lloyd Daniels, to play at their end of year Charity Ball at the end of the month.
Popular X Factor 2009 Finalist Lloyd Daniels will be performing on stage at the charity ball, held at Oldway Mansion in Paignton, on Friday 21st May, where he will also be meeting and greeting students. Welsh blonde singing sensation Lloyd, was the youngest contestant in X Factor last year, with Cheryl Cole describing him as
"The first person I'm going to say you've got the X Factor to."
The South Devon College Students’ Union (SDC:SU) Student Charity Ball is in aid of Breast Cancer Awareness and child cancer charity Clic Sargent, with proceeds from the tickets going to both charities. The Charity Ball also marks the end to the reign of current Student President Ed Matthews, from Paignton, who is handing the mantle over to Kate Oakden, from Brixham, in the summer. Ed and Kate have been working together to organise the charity ball and finish the academic year in style for students at South Devon College. As Kate says:
“The night will be full of frolics and festivities with a caricaturist drawing some fun portraits, an on-site photo studio to capture all the fantastic ball gowns with photos to take away on the night, a DJ Set From (College radio station) Vibe FM’s Royston, Heart FM Breakfast show producer Matt and of course, Lloyd Daniels performing - it is going to be an absolutely amazing night! This will be the first and possibly only appearance Lloyd will make in Torbay and we are so delighted that he will be supporting our event and raising the profile of both Breast Cancer Awareness and Clic Sargent. The whole College is very excited about this years’ ball.”
Just like current chart number one Diana Vickers, Lloyd Daniels will be looking to release a single which could see him have massive chart success like previous X factor finalists JLS. |
